Hope Springs Eternal by Steve Tweed

Hi, Folks!

Well, it’s the first day of Spring. With this day comes a new outlook for the coming year.

A lot of planning offers encouragement and expectations for the growing season upon us. Seeds are planted. Hard work and sweat will sacrifice themselves in hopes of a bountiful harvest.

Spring rains will allow streams and waterfalls to flow with new vitality and authority.

Daffodils, Forsythia, Dogwoods and Cherry trees bloom, standing guard over old homesteads as they proudly seek the sun.

Male turkeys will begin their annual strut, instinctively seeking out a mate which will create offspring and new life cycle.

The returning familiar sounds of honey bees, bluebirds, robins, bull frogs and crickets will offer outdoor companionship, each taking turns during any given twenty four hour cycle.

It is only fitting to offer photos in honor of those hopes.

With that, I wish each and every one of you the grandest of luck and bounty in your coming garden, hunting and fishing season.

Y’all have a great week!
